This beautiful, handcrafted unique cutting board is made from maple hardwood. This one-of-a-kind cutting board is made in the 'end-grain' butcher block style, which means the end grain of the lumber is facing up as your cutting surface. This provides a very durable surface that will not dull your knives as quickly as an edge grain butcher block. Our cutting board is a solid 1.5 -1.75 inch thick (all cutting boards range in sizes because each piece is handmade)

Each cutting board is finished with food safe mineral oil. We also apply a coat of beeswax as a final finish. For longevity we only use food safe FDA approved, waterproof wood glue.

We recommend refinishing your handmade cutting board with bees wax or wood conditioner about once a month or as needed. You will also receive a cutting board care info card to get the most out of your new kitchen addition.

The board you will receive is the same design as the one pictured although it may not be the same board.
